The Cross Bone Vanguard
The Cross Bone Vanguard were once a small faction that rose into a nation of colonies with the idea of forming a independent Aristocracy in the New Frontier Colonies, a endeavor they succeeded at until civil war tore them apart from within, leaving them vulnerable to the Earth Federation who took the opportunity to quickly defeat them. In disarray, but not willing to give up on their idea's, they broke off into splinter clans that roamed around in loosely aligned fleets, constantly moving so that the Earth Federation could not track them, and finish what they started, allowing them to raid and loot throughout the settled area's of the Solar System. They are know to have several colonies located within the asteroid belt, those these locations are only know to the rare outside individual, and they usually with some kind of connection to the Clans. Through a need to stay alive, the clans generally cooperate together, they are at heart independent, and only gather in large groups in rare occasions.
The Wolf Clan
The Wolf Clan is arguably the most aggressive among the clans and is the second largest. They will rarely attack in large numbers, preferring gorilla tactics that allow them to quickly strike at their target, and then disappear. Their primary targets are military supply posts and convoy's that carry all the supplies they need to keep their war machines at peak performance.
The Eagle Clan
The Eagle Clan could be considered the Face of the various clans, because they are by far the easiest to work with. Far less aggressive then their Wolf Counterparts, they tend to be scavengers and traders, the merchants of space. They are willing to operate anywhere, and willing to do business with just about anyone...so long as they don't feel threatened.
The Tiger Clan
The Tiger Clan is the largest of the various clans, however they tend to not stray from their preferred territories located in the asteroid belt, and tend to be the most disconnected from the solar system around them, wanting mainly to be left alone, and retain anonymity.
The Shark Clan
The Shark Clan is somewhat of an oddity they mostly stay just on the outer edge of Earth Federation controlled space living almost exclusively in ships and rarely ever making port for any reason, while raising entire generations on ships. They could be considered true Spacenoids due to their preference to ship and space based life, though don't seem to bother to compare themselves to the Zeon Spacenoids.
The Ox Clan
The Ox Clan is made up mostly from the decedents old tactical and intelligence branches. Quite often they have been referred to as mercenaries more then pirates, and have gained a brutal reputation for effective and efficient operations, and have garnered a following among all factions. They are not picky as to who they sell their services to, and have been know to work all any side that is willing to pay.
The Viper Clan
The Viper Clan are pirates in the truest sense of the word. The are even fairly disliked among the other clans for there inherent lack of morals or predictability.
